Abstract

In the present investigation, the ZnO

â€ÂAu nanocomposites were prepared by

dissolving the Zinc Nitrate and Chloroauric acid in 1:1 concentration in the

presence of Sodium Hydroxide. Formation of nanocomposites was observed

by a change in color from a colorless solution to yellowish white precipitate.

Furthermore, characterization of ZnO

â€ÂAu nanocomposities were done by

using Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), UV absorption Spectroscopy, Scanning

Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X

â€Âray Diffraction (XRD) to determine the

particle size, absorption, morphological studies and crystalline structure.

Moreover, under the evaluation of anti

â€Âmicrobial potential of synthesized

composites, a great promise as anti

â€Âbacterial agent was observed which can

find versatile applications in the fields such as medical devices and antimicrobial

systems.
